Jake is a real estate broker, voice-over actor, and stand-up comedian who moved to Bend five years ago from the Minneapolis area. He is thrilled to be working with such a talented group and is looking forward to more pretend drama in his life.

Antony Sparrow as Robert

Antony Sparrow (Robert) has participated in community theater and independent film for over 14 years. Antony’s favorite acting roles include Jonathan Harker in Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors, Daniel in Trap for a Lonely Man, and Ulysses in Shakespeare’s Troilus and Cressida. Antony also directed and starred in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance and The Big Knife. This is Antony’s third production with the Cascades Theatrical Company. Antony would like to thank the Boeing, Boeing cast and crew for their support, as well as his wife, Sophie, for her unwavering empowerment and encouragement.

Paige Bevando as Gloria

Paige Bevando (Gloria) grew up in Bend and first appeared on CTC’s stage in 2006 in Fruitcakes. She is thrilled to return for her fifth production with the company. Her other credits include Noises Off, The Mousetrap, Last Train to Nibroc, La Cage aux Folles, and Here on the Flight Path. She most recently appeared on stage and screen as an AI character for an electronic music festival exploring human behavior through performance and interactive experience. In addition to acting, Paige has written and performed her poetry in slam competitions across Oregon and Minnesota for the past ten years. Playing a TWA stewardess in Boeing, Boeing is especially meaningful to her, as her grandfather spent four decades as a TWA pilot, navigating the golden age of air travel and the skies that inspired her own love of adventure. She is honored to work once again under Richard’s direction, whose guidance continues to inspire her, and grateful to share the stage with a talented and dedicated cast. She is especially thankful to her mom, who never misses a production.

Regan Donnell as Gretchen

Regan Donnell (Gretchen). Previous roles include Lydia in Shakespeare in Hollywood, Elsa in Go Back for Murder, Lucy in Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors, and Miss Casewell in The Mousetrap. Settling as a local in the year 2000, Regan loves the art focused community of Bend, Oregon. Regan spends her time enjoying the outdoors (weather depending) and painting pretty pictures. Special thanks to her family and those that support local theater.

Rachael Bentz as Gabriella

Rachael Bentz (Gabriella) is an artist, writer, and performer. She moved to Central Oregon in 2020, and prior to that she lived in the Portland metro area for twenty-five years. She studied graphic design at PSU, wrote a science-fantasy book (unpublished), and sang to empty bars in a folk-rock duo. Last year at CTC, she performed in Grease, Rumors, Ebenezer Scrooge’s Big Bend Christmas Show!, and was stage manager for The Haunting of Hill House. She performed in Rock of Ages for Theater in the Park and is excited to start off 2026 in the French classic Boeing, Boeing with a talented cast.

MEET THE PRODUCTION TEAM

Richard Choate – Director

Richard most recently co-directed Once at Greenhouse Cabaret and directed the world premiere of Voiceless: A Musical for Ellipse Theatre Community and Silent Echo Theater Company. Earlier this season at Cascades Theatrical Company, he directed Rumors, continuing what has become a suspiciously busy relationship. Past productions at CTC include Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Mousetrap, and Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors. In a brief and mostly successful attempt to sit down and be quiet, Richard stepped away from directing to appear in TMP’s Cabaret and as Robert in Greenhouse Cabaret’s production of Proof. The experiment did not last. Other directing credits include The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) (revised) (again) for Greenhouse Cabaret, and Fiddler on the Roof, Noises Off, and You Can’t Take It with You for CTC. He first appeared on the CTC stage in Vanya, Sonya, Masha and Spike, directed by Juliah Rae. Boeing, Boeing marks his 22nd production in Central Oregon since 2022—which seems excessive when written down, but here we are.

Brad Knowles – Assistant Director

Brad Knowles (Assistant Director) is excited to be assistant director of this production of Boeing, Boeing. Recent stage appearances include Ken Gorman in Rumors, Van Helsing and Mina in Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors, the mysterious Mr. Paravicini in The Mousetrap, and the conniving playwright Sydney Bruhl in Deathtrap. He’s thrilled to be working behind the scenes this time around and hopes the audience has as much fun watching as the cast and crew have had putting it together.

Suzie Hughes – Stage Manager/Props

Suzie Hughes (Stage Manager/Props) moved to Bend from the San Francisco Bay Area where she was a stage manager in community theater for over 15 years. Here in Bend, she has worked with BEAT Children’s Theatre, Central Oregon Symphony, Mejaski Productions and Ellipse Theatre Community. Favorite past productions here at CTC include Rumors, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Mousetrap, Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors, Noises Off, She Loves Me and Fiddler on the Roof.

Brenda Weller – Costume Designer

Brenda Weller (Costume Designer) feels it’s been a great honor to do the costuming for this production of Boeing, Boeing. Working with such a fantastic director, his team, and the talented cast has been fantastic. Past costuming experience at CTC includes the production of Haunting of Hill House and assisting with costumes for Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Brenda has been sewing for 40+ years, so taking her personal skills and applying them to costuming has been a fun and rewarding experience.
