Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic

For seven years a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs… who just happened to be there too. A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world.

MEET THE CAST & CREW

Theryon is so happy to be back on stage at CTC. You may have seen him before in RENT: School Edition (Collins) or Parade (Frankie Epps). When not on stage Theryon finds himself playing his guitar or watching scary movies. He’s so grateful to have been a part of such a fun show with such amazing people and hopes you all enjoy it!

Max Fulkerson is a Junior at Caldera High School and has been performing for audiences as long as he can remember, most recently as Benny in Studio 360’s RENT at CTC. He did quite a few shows as a child with TMP and is going to be playing Peter Pan in Caldera High School’s PETER AND THE STARCATCHER. Max is passionate about music and performing, and is honored to be a part of this incredible cast and production.

Ella is very excited to be stepping into the shoes of Megan Jones for this production!! You may have seen her in different shows around town like RENT (Maureen) Parade (Monteen) and many more. Please sit back and enjoy Puffs!

Kyle is a aspiring actor. He’s previously been in Puffs, Les Misérables, How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse, and The Addams Family Musical. He is super happy to finally be doing work at CTC and he hopes you enjoy the show while also having a magical time!!

Boston is a Sophomore at Caldera High School. Puffs is his first play at CTC, but he started doing theater as part of Caldera’s theater program last year. He likes to play video games, read, and draw. He wants to thank his family and friends for coming to the show, and hope they all enjoy it!

Rory is an aspiring young actor, performing for six years now with many different companies around town. You may have seen her at the Tower Theater Preforming as Leisl in the Sound of Music or in CTCs recent show Parade as a factory girl (Essie). When she’s not acting, she’s playing her guitar, painting, and hanging out with her friends. She’s very passionate about this show and all the hard work her and her cast-mates put into it. So sit back, relax and remember to get a butter beer on your way out!

Burke fell in love with acting on this very stage when she began theater at the age of seven. Her recent theater credits include RENT: School Edition with CTC as well as CTC’s 2023/24 Sneak Peek Showcase! Burke plans to one day go to college in New York City to continue acting and theater as a career and lifestyle. She gives thanks to her wonderful directors, Christopher A. Romero and Mark Magness, and her hysterically brilliant cast and crew! Enjoy the show!

Miles is excited to take on his second stage production with CTC’s Studio 360 after playing the role of Roger in RENT. As a child, he cut his acting chops performing in Thoroughly Modern Productions’ PETER PAN, BEAUTY & THE BEAST and THE WIZARD OF OZ. Miles is especially proud to be sharing the stage once again with his brother, Max, and so many familiar faces.

Finn is incredibly excited to be on stage for their first production with CTC. They worked behind the scenes on Parade, but they’ve been eager to get back on stage since recently being in Les Misérables as Madame Thénardier at Mountain View High School. They’re so happy to share this absolutely hilarious story with the community!

40 years ago, Mark was pushed onstage during the second act of Hello, Dolly! to substitute for a sick waiter. He was given a single line to speak, a stack of tipsy dishes…and has been hooked on community theatre ever since. He connected with CTC last January and this is his fifth production! So much for retirement. Mark and his wife (of 51 years), Linda, came to Bend chasing grandsons. They have two here and two more in New Zealand (VISITING NEXT MONTH!) Mark can’t say enough about this remarkable (and very, very young) cast and crew. They bring a talent, energy, passion, and JOY to the stage that is rarely seen. Plus, he says, they are all so nice! He knows you will enjoy their performance.

Christopher A. Romero is delighted to be a involved with Puffs. He a student pursuing an education in the performing arts. He has been acting in local theatre productions in Bend for three years, his previous stage credit being “Jim Conley” in PARADE (2023) at CTC. Apart from this, Christopher plays a part in many filmed commercials and independent projects as an actor/writer. He is currently acquiring a higher education in musical theatre and looks forward to being a part of many projects to come.
