Alexandra Cerussi – Jaqueline de Severac
Alexandra is thrilled to be performing in her second show, Murder on the Nile! Previously, she played Pam in CTC’s A Gift to Remember. Alexandra is grateful to have found a new passion in life – theater – and she looks forward more adventures on the stage! She hopes you enjoy the show!
Andrew Ledyard – Canon Pennefather
Andrew discovered his love for performing at an early age and after graduating high school, he spent a summer with the British American Drama Academy in Oxford. He went to New York City to study drama at the Juilliard School and then joined the Bats Company of the Off-Broadway Flea Theatre. He has been away from the stage for awhile and this is his first time performing at CTC. He sends sincere gratitude to the cast and and crew for reminding him why and how much he loves theatre. Immeasurable love and blessings to this cast and production!
Jackson Dean – Simon Mostyn
Jackson has performed in many roles at Redmond High School: Alfred Bell (Pearl Harbor Christmas/Christmas from home 1942), Mr. Vaan Dan (Diary of Anne Frank), Jarvis the Butler (The Pink Panther Strikes Again), Sir John Middleton (Sense and Sensibility), Narrator/Bookpeddler (Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr.). He is also a member of Thespian Troupe 3563. He first appeared at CTC in Curious Incident of the Dog and is happy to return and be part of such a phenomenal cast and crew.
Elyse Edwards – Kay Ridgeway-Mostyn
Elyse is thrilled to be in her 5th CTC show bringing to life one of her favorite murder mystery novelists! Other on-stage credits include Little Women (Meg March), and The Matchmaker (Minnie Fay). Backstage she enjoys reading, the outdoors and adventuring with her husband. Enjoy the show!
Amy Anderton – Miss Ffoliot-ffoulkes
Amy is honored to be back on the CTC stage with such an amazingly talented cast and crew. Previously at CTC, she was in A Christmas Carol, Miracle on 34th Street, 9 to 5, and She Loves Me. She also sang and danced her way through Peter Pan, Annie, The Little Mermaid, and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory with TMP at the Tower. Amy thanks her husband, Jim, for his willingness to live alongside Miss ffoliot-ffoulkes for the past few months and for always being her biggest fan. Enjoy the show!
Christina Reynolds – Christina Grant
Christina is the youngest of four and has loved the stage and being a character since she was a wee tot. She was last seen as the feisty Aunt March in Little Women at CTC. Other plays to her credit are Christin in Picnic, Elizabeth in Defying Gravity, Emily in Our Town and Sophia in Fools. By day, Christina works in the character building profession of ER nursing. She is thrilled to be back on the CTC stage in a role with a matching moniker and a killer cast.
Antony Sparrow – William Smith
Antony is trained in the Practical Aesthetics Method and has been involved in community theatre and films for over 10 years. His recent performances include: Mitya in Burnt by the Sun and Ulysses in Troilus and Cressida. He starred as Marcus Hoff in Clifford Odett’s The Big Knife, which he also directed and produced. This is Antony’s first performance with CTC and would like to thank the cast and crew of Murder on the Nile, and his fiancé, Sophie, for her unyielding support, empowerment, and wisdom.
Jessica Jones – Louise
Jessica is new to theater and to CTC. She finds it most suitable to debut in an Agatha Christie play, one of her mother’s favorite murder mystery authors. She earned two Bachelor of Science Degrees, spent 12 years in the US Army, and has been a Bend resident for 21 years. As a Personal Trainer, Yoga, Fitness Instructor, she found her calling helping others overcome physical obstacles and develop their inner and outer strength. Please welcome Jessica to her first time on stage!
Ed Mierjeski – Dr. Bessner
Ed is grateful to be back following his recent appearance in A Gift to Remember and supported by another stellar cast and crew. Countless hours of skillful planning and hard work by so many have contributed to what you are about to see and enjoy, so a huge shout-out to everyone involved who turned out to “launch” the steamer Lotus on this suspenseful adventure along The Nile! You may have solved WORDLE in 3 moves today, but can you solve this mystery? Enjoy the cruise!
Isaac Fortune – Steward
Isaac is the greatest thing to ever exist. He likes acting, music, video games, & sarcasm. He’s done a couple shows here and there, including Fiddler on the Roof, Oliver and Pride & Prejudice.
Cory Cerussi – Beadseller 1, McNaught
Cory is humbled to be peddling his wares in his first-ever CTC production! It is Cory’s first show in over a decade, but you may recognize him from pouring at the Bend Wine Bar or volunteering with Harmony Farm Sanctuary. A native New Yorker, Cory is grateful to now call Bend home and hopes you enjoy the show!
Joshua Billeter – Beadseller 2, Police Official
Joshua is excited to be a part of another CTC production. He landed his first role as Phillip Scrooge in Humbug in 2013 at the age of 18. Some of the notable shows that he has been a part of are Murder on the Orient Express, A Gift to Remember, and Revenge and Sorrow in Thebes. Joshua would like to thank his beautiful wife Breanna for always supporting him on his acting journey.
Meet The Crew
Rick Jenkins – Director
Rick has acted in numerous productions at both CTC and 2nd Street Theater. This time he is trying to act like a director. This is Rick’s fourth full length directorial effort in Bend. Previously, he has directed Laguna Beach, Ohio and Equivocation at 2nd Street Theater and Lost in Yonkers at CTC.
Sandy Kline – Asst. Director, Set
Sandy just can’t seem to stay away from the stage! She has always been most happy being behind the scenes making theater magic, and is thrilled to be working alongside Rick, the production team and this wonderful cast.
Laura Ledray – Stage Manager
Murder on the Nile is the second show at CTC where Laura has been a part of the crew, the previous show being Sylvia. She is excited to be back in a more senior role as this show’s Stage Manager and is looking forward to helping with more productions in the future.
