Local playwright Persephone Vandegrift delivers a down-to-earth adaptation of the Greek classic, The Bacchae of Euripides. “Thebes” is a deeply human archetypal drama exploring the tyranny of ego (both mortal and divine) and man’s struggle to understand his connection to the material and spiritual world.
