Award-winning local playwright Persephone Vandegrift delivers a down-to-earth adaptation of the Greek classic, The Bacchae of Euripides. Set in ancient Greece, \u201cThebes\u201d is a story of revenge by the infamous god, Dionysis, on a young, arrogant king and his family for a presumed insult. \u201cThebes\u201d is a deeply human archetypal drama exploring the tyranny of ego (both mortal and divine) and man\u2019s struggle to understand his connection to the material and spiritual world. Running time approximately 90 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
