This is the first time Eric Hardin will take the stage at CTC, and he is so grateful to be playing Randle P. McMurphy. Previously, he portrayed a \u201cdeadite\u201d in the Evil Dead Musical<\/em> and has been in an indie film called \u201cLost Weekend\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Trained vocally in classical music, Marissa spent several years as an on-air personality for WMIL and WOKY in Milwaukee, WI before moving back to Southern California to work for SiriusXM. Pausing for over a decade to pursue a career as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Marissa is thrilled to be back in the spotlight, playing the manipulative and feared Nurse Ratched in her first performance for CTC! The irony of this role is not lost on Marrissa, a mental health practitioner. She would like to assure her current and future clients that she did not Method act for this role.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Stella Adler said, \u201cThe theatre was created to tell people the truth about life and the social situation.\u201d The opportunity to play Mr. Harding has been an extremely rewarding experience for Bill and one that will hopefully be truthful, make you laugh and cry, and offer you some hope. Bill’s acting credits include Mr. Kirby in You Can\u2019t Take it With You<\/em>, Dr. Armstrong in And Then There Were None<\/em>, Adult Male in Spring Awakening<\/em>, Roger Hopewell in Musical Comedy Murders of 1940<\/em>, Luis Alberto Molina in Kiss of the Spider Woman<\/em>, and Clive and Cathy in Cloud Nine<\/em>. He directed The Lost Virginity Tour<\/em> in 2019 and God of Carnage<\/em> for Ellipse Theatre Community this past winter. He has worked behind the curtain as a stage manager, costumer, and set decorator. Finally, Bill would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the power of kindness, forgiveness and laughter and he hopes you enjoy the show.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

After a 30-year hiatus, Rick returned to acting several decades ago as Willie Clark in The Sunshine Boys<\/em>. He recently appeared in CTC\u2019s Noises Off<\/em> as Selsdon Mowbrary\/Burglar; and was last seen in Go Back for Murder<\/em> as Turnball & Meredith Blake. Prior to Go Back for Murder<\/em>, he was last seen at CTC (before the plague years) as Sir Rowland Delahaye in Spider\u2019s Web<\/em>. Other favorite roles include Nat Burton in Garden Politics<\/em> and Buckingham in Richard III<\/em>. Favorite CTC roles include Saunders in Lend Me a Tenor<\/em>, Sir Peter Teazle in School for Scandal<\/em>, and the Butler in An Ideal Husband<\/em>. Rick appeared two years in a row at the Tower as Scrooge in A Christmas Carol<\/em>. He played Uncle Billie and others in It\u2019s a Wonderful Life \u2013 A Live Radio Play<\/em> at CTC and he was Kris Kringle in CTC\u2019s Miracle on 34th Street \u2013 A<\/em> Live Radio Play.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Rob is grateful for the opportunity to reprise the role he played in the 2010 CTC production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest<\/em>. He is excited to be sharing the stage with this talented cast. Leah Chole is elated to come back to the stage at Cascades Theatre after a ten-year hiatus. When she isn\u2019t teaching high school English, you can find her playing with her dog, Ratchet, or watching copious amounts of The Real Housewives. Previously, she has performed in Dr. Horrible’s Musical Sing-Along Blog<\/em> (ensemble), The Rocky Horror Picture Show<\/em> (Columbia), The Vagina Monologues<\/em>, and High School Musical<\/em> (Taylor). Leah wrote one of her college essays about One Flew Over the Cuckoo\u2019s Nest<\/em>, and hopes she channels everything she was forced to learn in Confirmation school tonight.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Nohad is thrilled to be on stage for this amazing play! He\u2019s always been fond of acting and first appeared in Go Back For Murder<\/em> in March 2024. Apart from Cuckoo\u2019s Nest<\/em>, Nohad also performed in CTC\u2019s Cascades 10 Festival<\/em> in April. He is grateful to be part of this production with such a talented director, cast and crew, and would also like to extend his gratitude to everyone who encouraged his acting. Nohad is confident that the audience will go nuts about this play.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Rick has previously performed in productions such as War of the Worlds, Cyrano de Bergerac, Dracula <\/em>and Death Takes a Holiday. <\/em>He chose to take a hiatus from the stage to pursue a career in news and sports radio. During his professional career, Rick was honored with the regional Edward R. Murrow Award twice. He was also recognized four times by the Idaho State Broadcast Association for his exceptional work in Radio. As an actor, Rick won the blue ribbon for excellence in One Act performances twice at the Lenaea Theatre Festival. He is now excited to return to his roots in theatre and hopes you enjoy this production of One Flew Over The Cuckoo\u2019s Nest<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Madeline Stutte is an actress, comedian, ventriloquist, and 2nd year BFA student in Musical Theatre at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Currently, she is working in theatre as a comedy & puppetry instructor at BEAT Children\u2019s Theatre and can\u2019t wait to teach summer classes in the upcoming season. Recent credits in Bend include Amanda in Women in Jeopardy<\/em> (Deschutes Theater Company), Gordon in Rent<\/em> (Theater in the Park), and Sara in The Theory of Relativity<\/em> (Cascades Theatrical Company), as well as recent experience in both professional comedy and devised theatre writing in Chicago with the improv group RPG-13, Madeline is so excited to be back in town and participating in such a fantastic production. Brad Knowles is a talented theater artist who has been involved in various productions. Recently, Brad was part of Go Back for Murder <\/em>and Noises Off<\/em>. In addition to acting, Brad also directed 10 minute one acts in the recent Cascades 10<\/em> showcase as well as acting in one of them. Also, just a great guy.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Deone Jennings is thrilled to be back on stage at Cascades Theatrical Company in<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One Flew Over The Cuckoo\u2019s Nest<\/em>. Her most recent performances were Go Back For Murder<\/em> as Miss Williams and Noises Off<\/em> as Belinda Blair\/Flavia \u2013 both at CTC. Previous roles include Heidi in Look, No Hans!<\/em> and Polly Perkins in There Goes the Bride<\/em>, both at Okoboji Theater in lowa. In addition, she has played numerous leading roles at Twilight Theater and Hart Theater in Portland, Oregon. Some favorite roles to date include: Virginia Noyes in It’s Only a Play<\/em>, Nicky in The Smell of the Kill<\/em>, Joan in Murder in Green Meadows<\/em>, and Chick Boyle in Crimes of the Heart<\/em>. Deone earned her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts at Stephens College and also trained with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Deone is thrilled to be in One Flew Over The Cuckoo\u2019s Nest<\/em>, and she is grateful to be working with this talented cast. The first 20 years Mary danced. The next 30 years she performed professionally in New York City and Hollywood. For the past 20 years living in Bend, with her husband Howard, she co-founded BEAT Children\u2019s Theater. Mary has also written, directed, choreographed, and performed in our amazing local theaters. She is proud to be part of Cuckoo\u2019s Nest<\/em>, this strong and sensitive story of truth.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Daniel is thrilled to be on stage once more, this time in his natural habitat: surrounded by weirdos. Daniel was not initially thinking of acting in this show until Desi called him sobbing, and begging for him to take the starring role of Billy. Because Daniel is a handsome, generous person, he agreed. Billy has been a challenging role for Daniel, but he hopes you will enjoy his take on the character. Daniel wants to thank Desi, Sienna, the cast, crew, and all of his loved ones (especially Hugo) for their support.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Violet\u2019s Central Oregon acting journey began at Mountain View High School in 2013. After graduation, Violet stepped out of the spotlight for a few years. Luckily, fellow cougars Daniel Witty and Sienna Moreau convinced Violet to rejoin the theatre scene in 2022, and the rest is history! You might\u2019ve seen Violet recently in Rent<\/em> (Alexi Darling) or Something Rotten<\/em> (Ensemble). By day, Violet works as a job coach for adults with disabilities. Violet would like to thank the marvelous cast and crew for pouring their hearts into this show!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

This show is Bob’s first stage production in over 20 years. He is excited to return to theater and is thankful to CTC and Desi Thrower for giving him a chance to dust off some of his acting skills.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Cuckoo’s Nest<\/em> is Earl’s first dalliance into theatre at CTC. Although a veteran of many years, he moved to this area last February. Prior to this production, Earl played Lazar Wolf in Fiddler on the Roof<\/em> and Mayor in The Music Man<\/em> at The Shedd in Eugene. He also was seen in The Producers<\/em> as Franz Liebkind and as Amos Calloway in Big Fish<\/em>, both in Cottage Grove. Earl is excited to be part of this talented bunch of “Cuckoos!”<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
