Meet The Cast & Crew

Jacob Smart – Director

Jacob Smart is thrilled to be making his directorial debut with this wonderful production. He couldn’t be more impressed and honored to be a part of such a great cast & crew that have helped bring this piece to life! Over the past 8 years, Jacob has been a involved in shows such as West Side Story (Music Director), Spring Awakening (Moritz), A Chorus Line (Mark), and CATS: The Musical (Munkustrap). He wants to thank his wife, Gracie, and his son, Samwise, for their constant support and unending love!

Natalie Curtis – Asst. Director

Natalie Curtis has been involved in theatre for the past 28 years. Typically seen on stage, she has loved her time on this show as the assistant director. Her recent credits include assistant director for Topsoil Theatrics’ production of Spring Awakening, and was on stage as Mary Debenham in this year’s CTC production of Murder on the Orient Express. You will see her as Lady Macbeth in TMP’s upcoming production of Macbeth. Natalie is incredibly proud of the players in this production and she hopes you enjoy this funny and touching show!

Harlan Daniels

Harlan is ecstatic to first CTC production after moving to the area in 2017. Harlan has been an active member of the theatre community since and is notable performances were Bert in Mary Poppins, Mr. Wormwood in Matilda (with our wonderful AD, Natalie, as Mrs. Wormwood), and most recently, the Scarecrow in Wizard of Oz. He is very excited to step out of his comfort zone as this is his first “romantic” part. Harlan loves to ski in the winter and golf in the off season.

Christina Holler

This is Christina’s first production with Cascades Theatrical Company. After graduating from Oregon State University, she spent the last 10 years in Los Angeles pursuing her dreams of acting and screenwriting. A Sisters, OR native, she realized she was missing nature and chose to trade the Hollywood Hills for the Cascades. She currently works for the Bend-La Pine School District.

Jeff Martin

Jeff Martin is an enthusiastic personal trainer at two fitness studios in Bend. He also loves to sing and you might find him downtown singing on the corner with his karaoke machine. Jeff began doing musical theatre in high school with productions such as Guys and Dolls and If These Walls Could Talk. More recently he had a dramatic role in Revenge and Sorrow in Thebes at the Cascade Theatre.

Jaime Speed

Jaime Speed spends her time teaching 4th-6th graders, being a mom, and showing up on various stages in town. Some of her favorite roles have been Judy in 9 to 5, Elizabeth in Young Frankenstein, Martha from Heathers, the Musical, Rona in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Helena in Midsummer’s Night’s Dream.

Rachel is the founder of Rachel Robinson Music, a studio offering private voice and piano lessons to students of all ages.

Annika Boulet – Stage Manager

This is Annika’s CTC debut- and she couldn’t be more proud of this production! It’s been a while since Annika has been able to participate in community theater- but now that she has a “day job” she is hoping this is the first of many productions with CTC. Annika has loved theater since she was a toddler and has been in the cast or crew of over 40 community theater productions in her hometown of Flagstaff, AZ. Some of her favorite roles have been: Sharpay, in High School Musical; Viola, in 12th Night; and Fairy Mae in the Curious Savage. Annika would like to thank her fiancé, Wes, for always supporting and loving her; Jacob for his leadership and vision on this production, and the rest of the amazingly talented cast and crew of this awesome show for the good times and all the laughs. Enjoy the show!
