One of the Holiday season’s favorite tales has been reimagined and transformed into a gut-busting, fun, and family-friendly theatrical experience that incorporates our very own Cascades Theatre into the story.  Take a spin with Ebenezer, all three Ghosts, Tiny Tim, and more in this music-filled show.  A story about transformation has found itself transformed into this clever, high-energy show…a concentrated shot of holiday fun and festivity.

In a bustling town where the spirit of the season collides with the eccentricities of its quirky characters, we find our protagonist, Ebenezer Scrooge, navigating a world filled with comedic mishaps and unexpected friendships. From the hilarious misadventures of Scrooge’s over-the-top encounters with the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, to the touching scenes that reveal the true essence of love, generosity, and redemption, this play is a rollercoaster of emotions.

As the story unfolds, you will be captivated by the multi-talented cast of characters who handle every twist and turn with comedic aplomb, bringing their unique flair to a host of ever-changing roles! As the show tumbles forward with melodramatic fun, the City of Bend takes center stage, as subtle tongue-in-cheek references to familiar people and places give this show a “wink and a smile” relatability and paint this classic tale with plenty of local color! Directed by Disney Creative Director and Broadway veteran Marilyn Magness, this show is a tongue-in-cheek musical version of the beloved classic Charles Dickens tale “The Christmas Carol.” Only this time, it all happens in Bend Oregon, where Ebeneezer Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, and a merry Company of Players explain “what really happened” so many Christmases ago. Chock full of theatrical fun, pathos, and heart, the Cast brings to life the world’s most familiar holiday story in a most unfamiliar way!
