Volunteering

There’s a place for you here.

Get involved with Bend’s oldest community theatre.

Cascade Theatrical Company is almost entirely volunteer-run. We’re is always looking for passionate people to help take our theatre and talent to the next level! Have you been looking for a way to help CTC, but weren’t sure how? How about helping on our Membership Committee? If you’re artistic, why not help construct our sets or design sound and lighting for our productions? Perhaps you’re looking to direct, stage manage or work behind the scenes as part of our crew. No amount of help is too small or too great! Now is the perfect opportunity to share your talents and skills and help ensure CTC’s success for another 40 years! For more information please email volunteer@cascadestheatrical.org. Read on for details on how you can get involved and fill the form(s) below.

FRONT OF HOUSE

The first face the audience sees.

The front of house team is the easiest way to start getting involved at CTC. Each night or afternoon of a performance, we assemble volunteers to run the concessions register, bartend (OLCC server’s permit required), be an usher, and run the will call.

Current & upcoming online signup links:

These positions are only a one night commitment, and, as a thank you, you will be able to see that night’s performance.

Front of House opportunities includes: bartending, concessions cashiering, will call and ushering.

DESIGN

See ideas come to life.

Each designer brings with them their own unique style and flair. Designers work closely with directors to ensure that their vision is carried through in all areas of the production. Every aspect is a collaborative effort to bring the director’s vision to life and the designers are an integral part of that process.

Design opportunities includes: costumes, props, designing sets, set dresser, painting, & photography.

CREW

Running around in the dark was never so much fun.

Think that magic only happens once the lights go on? The crew are the ones backstage making sure that everything runs smoothly onstage, all without the audience knowing.

Crew opportunities includes: scene changes, helping actors with quick costume changes, & running lights/sound.
